Folktales can be political or religious as well. Folktales can be historic but they usually don’t have a defined timeline or unity of time, place and action. Typically, folktale represents a story of a place, tribe or native people of a region highlighting some morals, practices, cultural and social perspectives. Folktale can also be defined as a timeless and placeless story that is orally narrated by people. ![]() Folktale can be defined as an anonymous story developed by common people of a region or province and passed down from one generation to another.
